Discovery surveys give organizations a chance to identify and implement corrective actions before deficiencies are identified by federal or state surveyors. These are provided as part of your accreditation preparation.

Healthcare facilities may be surveyed at any given time by federal or state authorities. Surveys are often unannounced. Organizations should always maintain a state of readiness regardless of when a survey may be conducted. Our HCE Global who are certified in healthcare accreditation and infection prevention can perform discovery surveys of your facility to better prepare you for any unannounced or anticipated survey.

• Full scale survey will be performed
• Surveillance will simulate CMS survey activity
• Meet with leadership teams prior to survey
• Length depends on size & number of facilities
• Debriefing meeting to review initial findings
• Comprehensive report 7-10 days post-survey
• Assistance with any corrective action needs
• Follow-up survey scheduled upon request.
